I'm excited to share my latest project, Vintage Lab, along with my newly updated developer portfolio. As a frontend enthusiast, I've always been fascinated by how we can push modern tools to recreate the nostalgic aesthetics of the early web.

🕹️ What is Vintage Lab?

Vintage Lab is an interactive web experiment where I focused on blending 90s computing vibes with modern web performance. The goal was to create a UI that feels "heavy" and mechanical like the old days, but runs lightning-fast on today's browsers.

Note: I spent a lot of time fine-tuning the CSS shadows and borders to get that authentic "Windows 95/98" feel without using heavy images.

🛠️ The Tech Stack

To bring this vision to life, I used:

• React/Next.js for the component structure.

• Tailwind CSS for the precise UI styling and responsive layouts.

• Vercel for seamless deployment and performance.

The biggest challenge was making a "clunky" retro UI feel smooth on mobile devices. Ensuring that the windows and buttons remained functional and aesthetic on small screens required a lot of custom CSS logic.
